Move Over, And I'll Join You!

Well, I got the surprise of my life yesterday when I took my son in for an exam to keep moving forward on his diagnosis and they nurse came in to tell me my routine bloodwork had come in and my thyroid was "messed up". She said I needed to take Synthroid; my TSH is 5.64! I almost feel guilty, though, after reading so long about all of the problems some of you have faced, because I, like my mother, have NO symptoms that I am aware of. I have had a hard time losing weight, but so did my Mom around my age (47) and it did not improve for her after she started on the meds. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! I guess I'll watch my weight on every day BUT Thanksgiving. My cholesterol was a bit high, too. ~ Tracy

Good for you Keraly!!! Yes you should start losing weight and your cholesterol should go down in time.
