Twitching muscles are often a sign of magnesium deficiency, which is VERY commone, and getting on thyroid meds speeds up your metabolism, which might cause the symptoms of other deficiencies to be more apparent.
If you are taking Calcium, make sure you are taking it at least 4 and preferably 8 hours from when you take your thyroid meds, and also make sure it is balanced with plenty of magnesium. If you are taking 1000mg of Calcium a day, you would need 500mg of Magnesium to balance it.
If you aren't on any Calsium, then you should look into getting at least the RDA of Magnesium if not double the RDA.
