OH! I hear ya! ~ I've been fighting a losing battle with it myself. I'm not hyper...but hypo, and it doesn't seem to matter WHAT OTC medicine you would "try" ~ these colds just have a life of their own!
I was HOPING to avoid it by "treating" it as soon as possible...but with out avail. Luckily it's not AS BAD as former years...but sure enough, the result is coughing ALOT! I HATE IT!
I may have to just go back to my old Dr. (In the middle of switch to a new one) and just get the latest antibiotic's....but, it will return, without a doubt! I HATE WINTERS!!!
Hopefully the NEW knowledgable Dr that I'll be seeing in the middle of Dec will get me set up with proper treatment of my thyroid and clear up the "cold" bronchitus business that attacks me yearly!
I tried Mucinex DM and Zicam, and Sudified...and I DO think that they "helped"...but it still won.
