Hi Michael! Thank you so much for the update. As I recall, when you first came here, you were having a rough time. It's so nice to hear that all is much better for you.
Please keep in touch.

Re: The light in the tunnel was NOT an on coming train!

I should add that its very possible that my thyroid problems started 20 years ago with the onset of Psoriasis.

When i was Diag'ed in OCT 2003 my TSH was 147.

This also coinsides with the onset of Panic attacks. It may have nothing to do with it, but i will say it anyway. I have not one panic attack in a year. perhaps the feeling bad part brought them on, and now feel better means less panic attacks.

I wont dwell on it, feeling good is just fine with me.

BOSMOM - YES! i remember feeling so bad. I really have to add that buying a tredmill USING it has had a big impact. 3 times a week for 45 min and getting my heartrate up to 150 makes all the difference. Especially when i feel tired or unmotivated is EXACTLY the time when i excercise.

Re: The light in the tunnel was NOT an on coming train!

Michael,
So happy for you! Thanks for posting your improvements - we need to all do that to provide hope to the newcomers. I am a totally different mom, wife, daughter, and all around person since getting the right doc to check the right things and adjust my meds slowly up since last May.
Life is so much better now. Yes - I no longer have the severe anxiety and panic attacks anymore either.
Thanks for the exercise bit too - now that I am feeling better, it is time to jump on board with the exercise.
Thanks again for the encouraging words - it what I needed today.

I did not know that psoriasis and plantar warts had anything to do with thyroid problems. I was diagnosed with Graves disease 9 years ago.

Re: The light in the tunnel was NOT an on coming train!

Michael - Great post - thanks for the update. I have been on med for almost a year now and really don't feel significantly better but it's encouraging to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that maybe someday soon...

Great news!

Thanks,
Carol
