Question frequently sick related to hypo?
I am hypo thyroid. I am also sick about every three months with bronchitis and asthma. COuld this be related to my thyroid condition?? I have been reading other posts and it seems to be mentioned so Im wondering what you all know about this!

Yep, before I was diagnosed I would get frequent colds, bad colds and the flu every winter.
If you are on meds chances are your levels are not optimal. I recently got 2 colds in 2 months and when I had my levels checked, wahla, they were low.

I don't actually get sick, no colds, no flu in over 10 years but I always feel (and I mean all the time), like I am starting to catch something. I have swollen glands, low grade fevers, night sweats, headaches, body aches. These are my constant companion's and seem to be both stress and weather related. I have No thyroid due to a total thyroidectmy I had in 1991. The reason for TT was thyroid cancer.
