Just want to know what you think about this doctor. My thyroid tests came back 'abnormal' and I was told to go back and get more blood work done. I told the doctor that I have a history of thyroid disorders in my family and I am breastfeeding. When my results came back, I got on the internet and did some research on the different tyroid blood tests. I had the T4 done and it said that becaue I am breastfeeding it can throw off the levels. Now, the doctor has me taking the T4 free to rule that out. I am so annoyed that she didn't just order that test first KNOWING that I have a history AND I have higher levels of estrogen in my body. I hate getting my blood taken, not to mention the money.
I know the test came back abnormal because of BF...I think I should change doctors. What to you think? Isn't that common sense?
