Talking Re: Elevated Bp And Pulse

Hello everyone! I need some advice. I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Sine taking thyroid hormone replacement, my blood pressure consistently elevates , and my pulse runs from 80 to 115. I have to be asleep for pulse to be 80, and just moving around a little, will cause the pulse to jump to 90 and above. I don't feel nervous at all. Actually, with bp medication and thyroid hormone replacement, I feel good. I have been told I am clinically hypothyroid. I don't understand why I now have the high blood pressure and pulse. My pcp has put me on a beta blocker recently. So far, my bp has come down to within normal limits, but my pulse is still rather high. My electrocardiogram and echocardiogram both were normal. Could someone please explain why this might be happening. with exogenous thyroid hormone replacement? Is this found in other people as well? Should I be concerned? What further medical tests do you think I should have? I look forward to hearing from all of you out there, including senior members etc. Also, I would like to know approximately how long one should wait before raising thyroid levels again? Is anyone familiar with ankle reflexes as an indication of thyroid function., as well as changes in ocular fundi to light, reflecting adrenal function? If so, please explain. Thanks, binks
