| conflicting dr's and how many have been told.
I am soooo interested in how many have been told when their nodules are called "follicular lesions", that they are always called "follicular" because that is what the thyroid produces is follicular cells! I am so tired of the conflict in all of this, and I am really feeling that if kathyc's dr says this to be untrue that if he is correct how many of us are walking around with possible cancerous nodules on our thyroid and they just don't understand enough about them to take them all out.
What does everyone else think?
I am going to get this thing out of me if it is the last thing I do this year, I am so sick of the worry, the symptoms and the never ending questions that don't get answered!
I think her dr is right and I also think that labs use "blanket terms" to cover a diagnosis and they aren't specific enough.
My path report reads exactly as hers does. Only mine says consistent with an andenoma caused by lymphocytic thyroiditis. Wow, do they know what they are talking about in any case?
