Question Vitamins Can you or Can't you?

Hi
Just a question, are you allowed to take multi vitamins with iodine or kelp tablets to help increase iodine in your system if your diagnosed having an underactive thyroid?

Will this cause problems? ie too much iodine
will it interfer with levthyroxine tablets?
will my doctoror or my pharmacist know?

awaiting my blood results to see if tablets are working ok, I'm new to all this only diagnosed 6 wks ago.
Thanks Cazie42
