Has anyone had a bad reaction to this drug? I took it for a third time today and feel like I am in a low level panic attack and the after a while I was exhausted! I felt very weird and bad!
Changes shock the body. How much did you take? Without knowing I'd say start with something like 3mcg of t3 in the morning with your t4 and again in the evening. I take after a meal because that's how the armour company says to take t3.
If that's too much split that t3 in 1/2. As someone else said, a little dab will do ya when it comes to t3.
I got to the point where I was just feeling so terrible. One morning instead of taking 1 grain of Armour(my usual dose), I took 2 grains. In about 1 hour my hands started shaking and felt jittery inside. It must have been a bad jolt on the adrenals. I am sure it was the extra t3 that caused this. Then, I also had a craving for something sweet. That was hypoglecemia(spelling).
I have learned my lesson and will NEVER do that again.
The doctor gave me a T3/T4 mix to take once in the am and once at lunch.. it has 5 MCSR of cytomel.. I think that is way too much for my already hightened nervous system.. how can you take it at night? I can't sleep as it is???

I did that once or twice as well. Horrible feeling. And hypoglycemia is definitely a symptom of too much t3. For me it also creates indigestion.

Maybe cut that thing in half and take 2.5 in the morning and 2.5 at night-- after food.
For me, it helps sleep. I don't know how but it makes my sleep better-- as long as I'm not taking too much.
