Saw the Dr. today. US showed 3 hypervascular nodules that are not "cold". They are small in size. Dr. has referred me to endo. She is not sure about the safety of getting a FNA with hypervascular nodules (bleeding concerns).
Having a barium swallow and CT of neck and chest tomorrow. Dr. ordered a bunch more thyroid blood tests, even though the TSH cascade and RAIU tests came back in the normal range.
Anybody know what hypervascular nodules that aren't "cold" might signify? And if it's unsafe to have these types of nodules biopsied?
