goitres...
i just discovered this lump under my chin right at the top of my neck and its huge, someone pointed it out to me. It used to swell up when I had a pimple and I went to see my doctor and she didnt say anything at all shes like YEAH ITS JUST FROM YOUR PIMPLES. But wow it looks awful. I heard about something called a goitre. What is that? Why does it occur? Can you get rid of it permanently? Its so embarassing!

Doesn't sound like a goiter - but might be something called a thyroglossal duct cyst???? Sounds like something cystic, since it swells up and goes down

Yes its always there but it does swell up sometimes. When I rest my face you cant see it but when I lay down or put my head back you can see this cystic type of thing or goitre or whatever it is!
