Nope I haven't tried it. In my research, some sites do not recommend any iodine content for those with thyroid problems. Kelp contains iodine.

So I guess it falls back to individual experience. It may help some, and may not be good for others.

Are you going to give it a whirl?

I avoid anything with kelp because it causes me to feel like my body (mostly the joints) are on fire. Natural progesterone makes me feel the same way...I have no idea why.

Kelly, I know kelp and progesterone both stimulate thyroid production(individually). So they may push your levels up to hyperT levels.

I know that from experience on the progesterone. Just read about the kelp. It is interesting that I do not like salty stuff or any seafood. Both of which may be high in iodine.
