A little Confused, Can you help?
I am new to this message board and trying to find some information but maybe it'll be faster if I just ask.
I have hyperthyroidism, I was told over a year ago it was just thyroiditis. My symptoms (that I can remember) is memory problems, foggy headed feeling, low systolic and high diastolic bp (sorry i can't remember the exact numbers.. the list to check said the one was high and the other was low) my resting heart rate is never lower then 120, my hair is falling out, my arms and legs hurt and I've been getting shooting pains in my chest where my heart is, my eyes have been bothering me, I've lost 110 pounds (I was really fat, still fat just not as fat as I was) I am constantly thirsty, have absolutely NO energy.. vary between not being able to sleep and needing to sleep too much and my heart pounds a lot. Priot to this, my normal body temp was always right around 96.7 and now it's never less then 99.5. I have tremors in my hands, have problems swallowing food and even choke while drinking several times a week. I've been having a tendancy to throw up at least twice a week which is very unsual for me. I'm hot one minute and sweating, the next I am freezing and can't get warm. My bowels are loose and I go 5-6 times a day at least. My feet have been swelling up and getting weird 'hot spots' on my legs. It just feels like all of a sudden I am being burned and the spot is no bigger then a circle inch.
So. anyway.. the question is, with untreated hyperthyrodism, what is the danger zone for blood pressure and resting heart rate? I can't get to the doctor because of a transportation problems right now, but I can get to the hospital if I need to. Thanks for any help.
