bkerber Member (female) Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: central florida Posts: 87	Anyone with a false positive of PET scan? I had a PET scan for nodules in my lungs. Lungs came back negative but thyroid was positive for uptake. Have enlarged left side of thyroid. Cannot find any literature on false positive PETs for thyroid. I am having ultrasound tomorrow. Anyone have any thoughts. Thanks Becky
