My endo scheduled an iodine uptake scan for me. I had it done last Thurs/Fri. The doc that checked my results on Friday said that a normal thyroid would be at 20% and mine was at 8%. I was a bit out of it and didn't ask him what that meant...does anyone know? Does that mean that the iodine was processed too fast or too slow? He said my endo made the correct diagnosis and is treating me correctly, but was trying to page my endo to discuss with him. Anyway, just wondering what these numbers mean since I forgot to ask. My numbers are getting back from the hyper range into normal, but I am still having hypo symptoms. Not as many as before, but, still...I feel like I am not making any sense today! Sorry!!
