Cool good news on my TSH level!

because I haven't had good news to report before -- waiting to find out the free t3 free t4 levels but my tsh has gone from 11 in April to 4.44! I am so happy!
I am still on T4 only because I needed such a small amount to not react that I couldn't do the 25 mcg of Armour. So I'm on time release T4, specially created for me, that is free of all additives and so forth, and a whopping tiny total of 14 mcg spread out in two doses over the day. No one else thought it would be enough to make a difference but I know my body and how strong it reacts to things and I knew I was feeling better and it was working. Yeah!

And it worked!

I can make it through one whole full day before being very tired, and needing to sleep a lot the next day. That is also a big improvement. I still can't eat very much at all without stomach distress, and not one test has shown anything, so I guess it will just take time. (and oh boy, who knew how HOT this world really is? Whew!) Step by step. I wanted to share to this great community that has been so supportive. Happy!

Re: good news on my TSH level!

That's really good news, b&w. May I ask what stripe of specialist was so creative & insightful to rec. the TR T4? I've never heard of anyone doing that before.

Best wishes.

Re: good news on my TSH level!

Hi -- my PCP is a woman who is part of the Beth Israel Medical Center Continuum Center for Health & Healing in NYC. My T4 is made in upstate NY and shipped to me. It's a bit more difficult then going to the nearby drugstore but I feel so lucky to have found a solution that works!
