I need someone elses opinion on this...I went to see the Endo on Monday....he's so far been pretty good...he tests all the frees and has in the past upped my meds due to hypo symptoms but normal TSH...but here's whats happened...Monday 2 weeks ago his nurse returned my call to him because I was complaining of swelling in my hands and arms, headaches, muscle pain again, and the worst symptom, my neck felt like it had a lump that wouldnt go away...so I called the doc. His nurse schedules me an appt for Monday Aug.7 for a ultrasound of my thyroid....I get to the office and was told she never made the appt for me and my doc had to be there for the u/s and he was out all day Monday. So after driving for 1 hour to see him I was kinda ticked ...but they did it anyway and his nurse calls me yesterday with the results....she said my bloodwork was "normal" and the nodules on my thyroid were shrunk so that was considered "normal".( I was never told before I had nodules) Well she usually tells me my lab results but I was given none yesterday so I dont know what is "normal" this time. Last time my TSH was 0.07 FT4 was 1.1 and she never told me my FT3...which I know he ordered, and that was on 50 mcg of Levoxyl. I am now on 60 mg of Armour. So I asked her why the lump if my Labs were "normal" and she asked me did I discuss this with him at my appt, so I let her know of her mess up and told her he wasnt there that day . So she asked him about it and called me back and said he wants me to see an Ear Nose and Throat specialist?????? Has this been recommended to anyone else????? I figured I needed more meds, but no increase?????? What should I do????????
