Preface
A little over 5 weeks ago, my new dr prescribed armour. We discussed the possibility of switching over and we decided that a gradual shift would be a good idea, given I am trying to get off my psych meds at the same time.
She prescribed 88mcg levo and 1/4 grain, which I have been on for the 5 weeks. I felt good after 2 weeks, so, I was positive about the armour experience.
Prior to the Armour, I felt over medicated on 100 mcg of levo and was told to try going down to 88mcg. However, I felt undermedicated at 88 mcg of levo and felt really an emotional wreck.
On 88 my FT4 was 1.42 (.80-1.70) and FT3 2.84 (1.80-4.20)
I suspect that I am somewhere in between in my T4 needs.
On the Armour, even though the T4 amount was in total, 97.5, and close to the 100 I had felt overmedicated on , I did not feel this at all with the Armour.
Question
Now, it is time to increase the Armour. I just wanted to run it by you all and see if I am doing the right thing.....I can't really remember the particular instructions from the dr!
She did write down for me, "increase ARmour, decrease levothyroxine."She trusted me since she knew in understood what was going on medication wise.
I am contemplating taking a 75mcg pill along with two of the 1/4 grains, for a total of 94 mcg T4 and 4.5 mcg of T3. (I thought this would be easier than cutting the 88mcg.)
Would this be the normal way to proceed when switching over? By raising it 1/4 of a grain each time, or did any of you Armour people achieve this in a different way?

.....or should I just call my dr?
