Re: what happens when you dont take enough ml of synthroid
I had my thyroid removed the end of June -- had my levels checked in August and they were "low". Kept taking the same dosage and had them rechecked last week, now I am hypo. They increased my meds a week ago yesterday - after a week of the higher dosage I feel much better.
Since August I have become increasingly tired (to the point I couldn't get out of bed sometimes), somewhat depressed, achy, just plain miserable.
So if you don't have a thyroid or yours doesn't work properly and you don't have enough of the synthetic hormone, you will go hypothyroid. It is not something you want to mess around with. Thank God I have a doctor that listens to me.
