A A C E recommends normal TSH levels should be considered as .3 - 3.0. Many in this association consider a TSH 2.5 or higher a sign of thyroid failure. This means you need more blood work done to get a complete picture of your thyroid health. FT3 and FT4 should be tested minimum in my opinion.

Hi,
I'm Cindy 1968, had to change user name...

Anyway, doc is lowering my dose???????? I don't get it???? I think I need a new doc??? He said I'm turning hyper at 2.7?

Uh? Lowering your dose? Definitely look to a new MD. What is he going by? *snort* If your hyperT at 2.7.. I am a preschooler.
Did he test your Total T's or FT's?!
What is he basing hyperT on?! Not 2.7.. if it was .27 and you were on a T4 only supplement.. maybe... but the TSH is just a indirect measure of thyroid health we need to look at the true hormone output of the thyroid to know for sure what it is up too!

I hope that you have some luck finding a thyroid savvy MD near you.
