hi everybody!!!! I got back from doctor she said if i want to she can switch me from synthroid to armour....we think maybe synthroid is causing the weight loss and diarreha....has anyone had good results going from synthroid to armour....what kind of side affects.....
Hopefully Midwest will chime in. I can tell you that too much of any thyroid medication will cause hyperT symptoms. The question is whether it is the thyroid hormone levels or the inert side ingrediants mucking with you.

all i know is doctor said i went from hypo to hyper from too much meds..was on 150 for month...then to 50 now 75...started with diarehhea after coming off 150 and have had it for last 2 months my tsh is 8.8. so i am hypo again y t3 and t4 are within norm they say
With in the normal range doesn't mean in the optimal region of normal. The optimal range of normal is 50 - 80 %. What were your last FTs? Have you been tested for Hashimoto's? It could explain the fluxing.

Last May I went from Levoxyl (T4) (<-150 / 25->) Cytomel (t3) Combo to Armour. For me I went from feeling like a shell of a human being, to actually living life. Of course on the lower doses of Armour, I had fatigue, but I felt so much better being on Armour than the Levoxyl/Cytomel combo.
