New medication: side effects, will they go away?

Hello, I just started on Cytomel yesterday, a very low dose 2.5 mcg per day, and the plan is to titrate upwards. How long before I would expect to see any benefit? Right now, it actually makes me drowsy, so I'm going to take it at bedtime for the time being. (I'm very sensitive to medications.) Any experiences with side effects with thyroid medication and what to expect would be appreciated. Thanks all

Also, I am wondering if some people feel they cannot tolerate synthetic thyroid medications?
