switching from syn to armour

my doc is switching me from synthriod .75 to armour 30mcgs does that sound right...i dont know how the whole conversion works...my tsh was 2.95 my t4 was normalk but high my t3 low but normal will post them as soon as get them...thanks

Thirty mgs of Armour is roughly equal to 50 mcgs of Synthroid. Your doctor may be starting you at a slightly lower dose of Armour to see how you react to the T3 it contains.

I suggest if you feel more hypo after a couple of weeks, to call and ask if you can increase by 15 - 30 mgs, so that the dose will more closely approximate the 75 mcgs of Synthroid you used to take.
