Hi everyone,
I'm after some advice again...
These are my recent test results.
Free T4 10.7 (10.00 - 24.00)
T.S.H. 5.3 (0.4 - 5.5)
I was taking 50mcg of thyroxine at the time of these test results.
I went to the doctor he says great your levels are fine....
I told him I was suffering from muscle pain and aches in my legs to the point that by the end of the day I could barely move,
the fact that my throat feels really dry and uncomfortable,
tired, the rash on my forarm was getting worse again...
He checks me over, says you have a virus...thats why you have these symptoms.
He told me this eight weeks ago when I was there also and mention my throat feeling dry and strange, and I dont feel like I have a virus!
I mentioned how this happens to my throat on and off.
It may be fine for a couple of weeks then go weird again.
Some mornings it's fine and by the afternoon I have people asking if I have a cold or flu.....am I the only one who sometimes says yes to people you don't really know very well
Basically when he realized I was about to burst into tears,
because like a lot of you can understand I just want them to listen to me.
He says.. oh well, we'll try 75mcg then....100mcg one day ..50mcg the next.
So this is the third dose change I've had and I'm beginning to feel headachy again.
I'm wondering if that is a "normal" reaction it changing the dose...it's only been two weeks.
I can walk again and even vaccuum without crying

So I am much happier really!
Hubby thinks I should look for another doctor,
but it has taken me 18 months to find one that beleived there was something wrong with me....I'm confused really.
Thank you for your help and sharing your experiences with me,
Mother bear.
