Results - So Relieved- Reece & All

Just got home from Ultrasound. I could hardly drive home as I was so happy with results. Radiologist had nurse to do the ultrasound and she made me wait until she let the Dr. (Radiologist) look -- he came in and wanted to do it again. He said it was so small he could barely detect it and it was residual tissue which he said we will not do anything until next year and another ultrasound. He said the RAI that I received for WBS was probably still working a little. He told me not to worry and he would see me next year! I had almost made myself sick over this. I can go and do but my mind really plays tricks on me. Thanks for your encouragement, that truly help me "weather the storm". Take care. I'm still praying for your Mom's full recovery. Blessings.

Great news for you, June. What a try to get on with your life, but we always have these ckups, etc. to get through. My endo said I will not even have a scan, which I told Reece, I thought was odd, as it seems everyone has more follow-up, so we will see, I will bring it up to my endo in Dec. See the peace of mind is great, isn't it?
Take care,
Lori {fellow TC patient as of last Fall}

Re: Results - So Relieved- Reece & All

Lori and Reece, Thanks for the well wishes. I talked to my Dr. this morning and I think we are going to do ultrasounds from now on each year at the suggestion of the Radiologist. I've had three scans now, maybe they will treat me as Reece's Dr. is following up with her. Thanks for the notes and I wish you both good health and happy times. Blessings to you both.
