Any good endos in Los Angeles/Orange County area?
Does anyone know of a good endocrinologist in greater Los Angeles area? Orange County would be ideal, but at this point I am willing to travel almost anywhere in Southern California for a doctor who will actually give me a proper diagnosis and treatment for my hypothyroidism. Many thanks in advance.

I am not from California, but I have read some good things about a doctor at, I believe, UCLA Medical Center(?)--a Dr. Theodore Friedman. He is an endo who looks at the whole picture, from all the things I've read. Put it this way--if I wasn't 5 states away, I'd have seen him by now!

Thanks Sue. I've found an endo in my area who can see me before the end of the month. I will definitely keep Dr Friedman in mind though for future ref, he looks like he is very knowledgeable indeed. His articles are very informative and it's good to know he is not so far away if I want to see him for a consultation or even a second opinion.
