| Nerve Pain after FNA
I am experiencing a sharp pain ...maybe nerve like pain, in my neck. I had a FNA 10 days ago. My neck is pretty sore since they biopsied two nodules. Both came back benign, BUT when they biopsied one of the nodules, it was VERY painful and I had a deep pain that went from my ear to my jaw. Today I had a shooting pain from right behind my ear that went down my neck and into my throat. Is this some result from the biopsy?
I am thinking it could be that or maybe some sort of anxiety attack since today was my first day back to work in several months.
What do you think?
I have a followup appt. with the endo in the morning to review my antobodies test for hashimotos. I took xanax to help with the possibility of anxiety, but the occasional shooting pain freaks me out.
