THS Test
Today my doctor ordered blood tests checking for problems with my thyroid...I was wondering about how long those sort of tests usually take to get results. I'm pretty anxious to find out

depending on the lab, i'd say just a few days.

may i suggest to always get copies of your labwork. you can sign something at the lab or at the doctors office so you receive copies for you to keep.

From the time the lab receives the blood, it usually takes 3-4 working days.

Totally agree with scoot, GET & KEEP a copy of any and ALL labwork you have done. They often will tell your NORMAL when that's either high normal or very low normal and there is room for improvement.
