has anyone on this board used the home thyroid test? Was it helpful? I have been having symptoms that I think might be related to my thyroid. The last 3 times I have gone to give blood, the nurse who took my temp asked me if my temp was always this low(97.2). I told her I didn't know, because I don't routinely take it. Then I noticed i was losing more hair than I normally do and my head itches and I cannot find anything on my scalp to make my head itch. It is driving me crazy. I had an anxiety attack about 10 months ago, never had one before. I now take an antidepressant for depression. I have been trying very hard to lose weight, walking 2 miles a day for the past 3 months, can't seem to lose weight. I'm eating as healthy as I can. Also, sometimes when I swallow it is hard to get the food down, it feels like it gets stuck now matter how much I chew the food up. One more thing, my eyes are driving me crazy, also, I feel like I have a contact in(don't wear them) and they are very dry. I put eye drops in them 4-5 times a day, sometimes more. What do others out there feel about the home tests. I do not have medical insurance. Thanks for any help.
