*~ARKANSAS~* Anyone? GOOD ENDO's in state or surrounding states???
Hello Everyone~!
Is anyone from Arkansas that has had a good endocrinologist?? One that will listen and be compassionate?? ONE that will LISTEN to SYMPTOMs rather than just following the blood tests and lab results??? I am in need of one desperately...
Or any close to borders on the surrounding states? MS, MO, LA

I've read on a Texas thyroid board that John Launius in Dallas treats thyroid well. From what it says, he takes Armour himself. He is cash only, but they say his office visit and labs he runs are very reasonably priced--not like some of those no-insurance "specialists" that cost an arm and a leg.

I am from Arkansas and it sure does seem hard to find a good endo. I have one, but am not 100% satisfied at the moment. I hope some out there has a good one that they can recommend.

LJA- I found a site that recommended Dr. Baldridge at St Vincent Endo Clinic.. it said that he is good at listening to symptoms and not just labs.. and prescribes armour or something... thought id look into it...good luck to you too.. who is your current doc?? I saw a Dr. Rapp...omg horrible!!!!

I am in the northwestern part of the state where the pickin's are pretty slim when it comes to endocrinology, for some reason. I would assume for sure that you would have a wider choice in the Little Rock area. Wish I lived closer to there. If you decide to check out the other doctor I hope you'll post an update.
