Hypo symptoms come and go?

Last week it seemed I was having a ton of symptoms. I was very lethargic, cold, edgy, depressed and my thyroid itself actually felt swollen but not painful. I had blood drawn on Friday but haven't heard back yet.

Today I don't feel quite so bad, and am second guessing myself. I was diagnosed with Thyroiditis last year at this time and was told to get checked annually. It just seems the symptoms above are with me a lot (esp depression, edginess - my poor kids!- and I can't shake them.)

Do symptoms come and go or are they typically here to stay without treatment?

I almost hope that it is Hypothryoid so I can have an answer and a solution, since I'm destined to have it anyway (runs in the family).

Thanks for your input.

Jean

Yes they sometimes do that - but at some point they will be here permanently and then you need treatment for sure.
