| Need Help Newly Diagnosed
First let me start out by saying that this all confuses me. I was diagnosed as hypo in May. I also have Hashimotos. My endo has been steadily increasing me since May. At first dose, I felt great and continued to do so through all three synthroid adjustments. I am on 75 mcg now. I have been starting to get some symptoms back now so my endo ordered more lab work. It came back as follows:
TSH .9
T3 2.9
T4 1.0
Is it possible for me to be having symptoms with these levels. I have been reading these boards and people say that you need to treat the symptoms and not the levels. Can anyone help? I am having the coldness, bloating, achy body, nodding off and lethargic and dry hair and hair falling out.
Please help. I demanded an appt with my endo and will be going in four days.
Thanks so much!! As I said, I'm trying to learn about this confusing disease but I know how I feel and I don't like living like this again. Especially since I knew what it was like to feel better.
