Wondering How to Read the Results?

Hello, Just wondering how to read the result...I was diagnosed Hypo recently and wondering just how Hypo....

Is there anything else you need to understand the results...Of course I have all the hypo symptoms...the low body temp is really affecting my body chemistry...

Doc has put me on Levothyroxine 50mgs but i had to cut back to 25mgs due to heart flutters...I still seem sensitive to this small does...how long does it normally take to feel relief and what is really the best time to take each day. I currently take at 7 in the morning before I eat....Any advice is appreciated.....Thanks

Re: Wondering How to Read the Results?

Unfortunately those tests are pretty much useless. You really need to ask your doc for the following tests to effectively check your thyroid hormone levels:
Free T3
Free T4
TPO-Ab
TG-Ab

You also should look into checking your adrenal function if you are reacting poorly to even small amounts of T4. I recommend a saliva cortisol test. If your adrenals are fatigued then you will not do well on thyroid meds. Unfortunately most docs are pretty clueless about this so you might have to order the test on your own. I use the Canary Club as the best source.
