Hi all,
I was so focused on an enlarged lymph node, that I didn't ask about my new #'s.
Thyroid cancer patient, so need to be suppressed. Endo said #'s look good, but the Free T 4 looks high at 1.4 {0.6-1.6} TSH 0.20. {0.30-5.0}
Does that Free T 4 # indicate that I am hyper thyroid? I hope not.
Thanks to you #'s experts, of which I am certainly not!!

Your Ft4 number is right at 80% of normal range. This is the top of optimal range. The MD wants thyroid stimulating hormoned production suppressed so he is using the block and replace method to suppress the pituitaries TSH production.

Do you feel hyperT? You should be worried because the MD is not fol;lowing your Ft3 levels. WHat was the corresponding FT3 to this FT4? You need to follow both Ft4 and FT3 levels. You can be hypert in either hormone level and both effect your in bad ways.

How are you doing? I have recently read congrats are in order. How exciting for you!! Are you going to have another soccer player? My house is full of boys!!

My endo has never ever checked the FT3 level.
I have been feeling fine, though. I hope the # is not so far off that it will affect me in bad ways.......like what? osteoporossis or heart palps? I don't have either......as of yet, anyways!!

So, I am at the top of the optimal range, odd for me, cause in every other aspect of my bloodwork, calcium, vit D, ferritin, iron, etc. I am always at the very bottom or not even in the range...

What a pain, although I guess my doc was pleased with my bloodwork, which I guess after reading on here, doesn't say a lot!!
