throat discomfort
I have just been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease. I also have a few VERY small nodules on my thyroid (2mm and under). My biggest concern is the discomfort that I am having in my neck/throat. If I lie back, it feels like something is putting a lot pressure on my throat. It really bothers me. I do have bad allergies and sinus drainage but I know that's not the only thing going on. Is this typical? Is it ok to have this feeling?

Sounds like the nodules or a goiter affecting your throat. Have you had a sonogram? Have you told your doc about it? Are you on meds?

I was just diagnosed with a goiter and I have Hashimotos. I have that same exact feeling. Google goiter or nodules for more information, but what you are experiencing is normal for nodules or a goiter, I think!
