| Re: What does it mean when your antibodies get lower?
Unfortunately you don't "get better" from Hashi's. Autoimmune diseases don't have any known cure as of yet. But they do tend to wax and wane and even go into remission with periodic flairs. Hashi's is best managed by raising thyroid hormones to where the thyroid is inactive and this can stop the antibody attacks.
It's possible your thyroid is burning out. If this is the case and if you aren't currently medicated, you would have an increase in hypo symptoms. Selenium suppliments can also lower antibodies.
Maybe others here have other reasons why antibodies would fall.
