| Re: thyroid shadow snydrome
I found out my thyroid was borderline low; where most doctors will ignore it. However, with the symptoms I was experiencing, my doctor was wise enough to say that sometimes the numbers don't tell the whole story. I would fall asleep on my chair at my computer at work due to fatigue. I'd go to my car and sleep (with a timer) during my lunch hour. Slept 20 minutes past the timer ringing! I could not lose weight (and still can't), and my hair was falling out more than usual. The thyroid medication helped me feel better within about two weeks. So I say talk to your doctor and make them understand that these symptoms you are having are not "normal" for you. We know ourselves, generally much better than our doctors.
