Fast or not for am cortisol bloodwork?

I can't remember if you need to fast or not for a morning cortisol test. Unfortunately the office doesn't open until 8:30, so that's the earliest I can get tested.

Fasting is not necessary. If you are taking cortisol or any suppliments with cortisol then these need to be discontined for 2 weeks prior to testing.
