small anechoic image with central calcification

hi...
I am new here and I just wanted some feedback on my u/s results...
I just went to the dr to start a diet(I am a little overweight) and he ran a few tests among those tests was a thyroid u/s...he just gave me the results a week ago and it turns out that I have a small anechoic image with central calcification on the right lobe....does anyone have any info on this??
I already have an appt with the endocrinologist next week but I'm worried and I want to go in with a few decent questions...so if anyone can help with this I would really appreciate it..let me know if anyone out there has had the same results...
my thyroids measure: rt lobe: 4.3x1.6 cm
left lobe: 3.7x1.7 cm
I heard that is normal so I was wondering if maybe I am jumping the gun a little here...
thanks ahead of time for any info you can give me!!!
