| | Heterogeneous hypoechoic nodule?? what is this?
Ultrasound reports on my Thyroid
Right lobe is heterogeneous. In the mid pole there is a 1.4 X 1.5 X 1.3 nodule that has a thin hypoechoic rim and is heterogeneous otherwise.
Right size... 4.3 X 2.0 X 2.1 cm
Left lobe is heterogeneous, but no descrete cysts or nodules are seen.
Left lobe .... 4.3 X 1.9 X 1.9 cm
I spoke to my Dr today....They are waiting on further lab work to come in. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. Is this something I should have biopsied?
What is heterogenous and hypoechoic? I don't really understand this in regards to a nodule.
