What is the size of the "mass" itself? If you do have a large mass, depending upon the fna results you may look at surgery, but I think if you can find a really good surgeon (ENT) it would be better to help you make that determination.
You can try medication---thyroid medication, it can sometimes shrink a goiter (enlarged thyroid) but it would rarely shrink a nodule/mass. It has nothing to do with your blood work. The blood work you had isn't adequate either. You would want to test your thyroid anti-bodies, as well as your free t4 and free t3 levels too.
I had my thyroid out, but due to cancer, I didn't gain weight.
