Still at it

A little thyroid history on me:
The end of May 2001 my TSH was 13.5 I was put on .025 Levoxyl.
The middle of August my TSH was 3.69.
The middle of October my TSH went up to 5.27 so they raised my dose to .050 Levoxyl.
Now its the middle of December my TSH is 2.91 still on .050 Levoxyl.
I still have all the symptoms as I did when I first got diagnosed with hypo 7 months ago. I guess Im just a little frusterated....
Take care,
Lori

Re: Still at it

Hi Lori. The good news is that it looks like the medication is working for you. But it's such a slow process. I agree with little. Since your last dosage change was in October, ask your doctor if he/she is willing to try an increase again to get your TSH a bit lower. Most of us feel our best with TSH between 1-2, but it varies with the individual. I hope your symptoms start to subside soon!
