Medical advice needed
Local doctors unable to help
Problem: Excessive sweating
Thyroid O.k. TSH 1.9
Patient is a male, muscular, active, in the late sixties, with family.
All bloodworks normal, liver O.k.
Prothrombin:O.k.
All suggestions are appreciated

I have that problem with my hands when I'm nervous. Doctor said there is nothing I can do about <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif">

Excessive sweating and hands shaking are symptoms of Graves Disease. He probably needs to have an antibodies test. TSH doesn't seem right for Graves, but I think it fluctuates...

Excessive sweating can be associated with pesticide/insecticides exposure, serotonin syndrome, electrolyte disbalance, brucellosis, tuberculosis, Hodgkin's disease, etc. Make a search on &lt;Hyperhidrosis&gt;, you will get a lot of information on excessive sweating.
