I had my doctor visit today-it is being wrote off as anxiety. He is putting me on zoloft. Even though my tsh is 0.69 now and 2 months ago it was 1.83
I questioned him and asked him why am I being treated like a lab value? Because this is the way things are done. Why do I have a goiter than if you think my levels are normal. Goiters are caused by your thyroid not working right-than why won;t you treat the thyroid cause your levels are ok-if my levels are ok why do I have a goiter? He could not answer anymore. I said I have elevated choselotoral,constipation problems-sweaty and cold and been having a sore throat. This can be irritable bowel and from anxiety. I said they can be from thyroid too but my levels are ok. He also said your tsh fluatuates and normal should be 3. something I said well I am not normal than but your within normal he said. Low side of normal.
Fed Up!! you all have been really helpful here but if I can not get a doc to listen it is no help to me.
I have been having hypoglycemia attacks now too and when I am up and around my heart races-guess when I end up in the hospital again almost dead someone might listen. If the zoloft does not work maybe they will listen. Who knows? Thanks for listening. Take Care!
