Ultra sound report
This was included with the films I picked up yesterday, I feel better after reading this. Tomorrow I go to see the Endo....
Both lobes are enlarged, the right spanning 5.6 cmm and the left approx. 4.8 in length. These dimensions are not significantly changed from the baseline study. In the mid and lower portion of the right lobe there are three contiguous nodules. The largest approximates 1 x 1 cm. The lowest of these three nodules has a calcified peripheral rim. There was some amorphus calcification in this nodule on the baseline study. There are a couple of additional small purely cystic lesions in the right lobe. Several small nodules are apparent in the left lobe. The largest of these approximates 4 x 6 mm in size.
Conclusion: Multinodular Goiter. Although there has been some change in the morphology of some of the nodules this is undoubtedly a benign condition.
