Hi PTW. I moved your post so others could respond. I find that when my TSH is too high (and, therefore, I'm hypothyroid), I have a lot of pain in my legs, hands and arms. It's difficult to stand, work on a computer, climb stairs, etc. Almost feels like I'm willing my body to move, but it's not responding.
Perhaps you need more medication than 0.50 mg of synthroid. Can you present your symptoms to your doctor and ask for blood tests that include Free T3 and Free T4, so they can get a more complete picture of an appropriate treatment?
