Missed meds...

Hi,
Well I have lost my brand new refill somewhere. Which means this morning (Sunday) I cannot take my .75mcg, which is the increase I started from .50mcg 11 days ago.
The pharmacy is closed today and tomorrow morning I will have to get another refill and it won't deliver until the late afternoon. I don't drive anymore. Which means 2 mornings in a row I won't have had my pill.

How many pills should I take when I get the bottle?
How much ground have I lost in my body assimiliating the newer dose level?

Thanks, Karima

Re: Missed meds...

As soon as you get your prescription in the afternoon, take your medication and then the following days just take your pill as you normally would and get back on schedule. You shouldn't be in too bad shape at all if you do this. This is what my drug company recommends in case of a missed dosage.

Re: Missed meds...

Hi,
Thank you for the reply...I really am worried about this because I know how sensitive these levels are and how important it is to take the pill the same time everyday.
I appreciate this board so much, I have learned so much information in the short time I have been here.
Thank you, Karima

Re: Missed meds...

You're welcome Karima. I think you'll be just fine. I don't think it's a good idea to take two pills at a time - much better to just take one pill as soon as you can, or if you forgot you pill, as soon as you remember and then resume schedule. You probably won't notice much difference at all. Best Regards, BG
