Re: AlfulD :) and anyonther input :)

Hi Marcia. It's nice to be missed. I felt that I was posting a bit too much and wanted to back off for a while. There are so many people with experiences to share, and I felt like I was hogging the forum.

I'm actually still waiting for my scan -- two more weeks of Cytomel. It's not scheduled yet (blood tests first on June 13th), but I expect it will probably be around the same time as your RAI.

You know, I've not been taking copper & zinc. And I think I really should, because the Cytomel cycles through my body so quickly. I palpitate for the first several hours after taking it, then I crash and become hypo. Thanks for reminding me.

Treefrog posted something about supplements in the Info Archive on 7/24/01. Here's her blurb about copper and zinc:

quote:
I also take 4mg of copper and 50mg of zinc as I just got a med dose raise, and those minerals help keep the heartrate calm and even.

Thank you for all the nice thoughts and prayers. Back at ya.

Re: AlfulD :) and anyonther input :)

Thanks, Treefrog. Sometimes I feel like a Board Hog and just think it's time to back off for a while. Plus I got a smack-on-the-wrist email from one of the moderators telling me not to post links to websites with chat rooms, and I guess I took it kind of personally. Receiving a "cease and desist" and a threat to my membership (although worded politely) was a bit of a shock.

The odd thing is that I think the post that they edited and to which they were referring actually had a link to one of the threads on this site, not a competitor's. I'm pretty careful about not linking to commercial websites. The Board rules don't mention that we shouldn't post links to other chat rooms and forums, but I find that most other forums are on commercial sites anyway, so I don't link to them.

Perhaps it is time for the hosts to modify the Posting Policy language. I believe they also prefer that we not post our personal email addresses so that discussions occur in public for all to benefit, yet that is not specified in the rules either.

Might be helpful for the newbies. Just a thought.
