Heart Palpitations after eating?

Don't know what to do? Throughout the last 3 years I
have been seeing 2 primary doctors and 1 endocrinologists. My first primary doctor thought my
palpitations might be from my enlarged thyroid she
could feel on my neck, so she ran blood tests, did
an EKG, and an X-ray of my heart to check for any
enlargement of the heart. Also did an ultrasound of
my thyroid. The results were: blood tests showed
levels were out of range on one of them.
EKG was normal, X-ray of heart was normal, and then
my thyroid ultrasound showed that my thyroid was
indeed enlarged, instead of looking like a perfect
butterfly mine looked liked someone stepped on it
and smashed it. She sent me to an endocrinologists.
He did more blood test, I believe just the t3, t4, &
tsh. One more test showed out of range on 2. Then
did more in a couple weeks and said back in normal
range. He says just have a goiter and have it checked
yearly, unless something comes up. Had tests just
checked lately and still normal. But I get tired alot,
have heart paps., especially after eating, and my
neck hurts (aches), and sometimes feels like something
caught in my throat. Should I see a different Endro,
Some people say test don't matter, a person can still
have symptoms. Does anyone know if this is true?
Any input would greatly be appreciated!!!!

Re: Heart Palpitations after eating?

Hi Darianna,
Please read the Our Stories topic, and the Information Archive topic.

I had palpitations when hypothyroid. It may also be a copper-zinc imbalance.
Read those and get back to us.
Also, please post your exact thyroid test results.
